Paradise ~ Lost & Found

Erosion from the Sahara Desert is Not to Blame for all of West Africa's Sandy Situation.
Poor Land Conservation, and a careless waste management plays a major role in the lack of Green.
One can not miss the array of garbage everywhere, the worst of it was the tremendous amount of garbage that washed up on shore with every tidal current.
Besides the Garbage everywhere, the lack of Conservation and Soil Deprivation can be salvaged...
Growing domestic herds of cattle and livestock are not only reeking havoc on the land, but the trees.
We witnessed this first hand, an abundance of cattle that were gorging on the unsupervised last remains of Tree Greenery - killing off the last remaining vestiges of shade and vegetation.

Don't mistake me for a Tree-Hugger.  I'm simply reporting on what we observed.
Limbing the last of the trees, Burning instead of Mulching & Fertilizing.
We drove a day into rural Senegal and saw this first hand.  Where did they go: Mango Trees, the Acacia Trees, and the many other native Bush plants?  The only thing we could witness were the beautiful Baobab Trees towering over the Savannah...and they were a sight to behold.
